Ok I'll stop flirting with you (maybe) lol let's dive in...
First, I didn’t start with bland asf prompts.
I started with my dream student's (ideal client avatar - ICA) end transformation in mind.
Here’s the mistake I see most course creators make:
They open ChatGPT and say, “Write me a course.” Like what... about who... where... HOW?!
What they should actually seed ChatGPT with FIRST before it does anything is:
→ “Here’s who I help” (give ChatGPT as much info about your ICA's psychographics - not just their demographics. I'm talking their hopes, dreams, desires, pain points, what they think about during the day, what keeps them up at night, etc.) like the juicy stuff
→ “Here’s the transformation I deliver” (what is point A to point B for your dream student?)
→ “Here’s what I already know works” (pull this from your own transformation and/or your 1:1 client's experiences and results)
Because if you’re vague, your AI will be, too.
But if your strategy and direction is clear and concise? It’s like having a team member who never sleeps (and doesn’t need you to pretend to be bubbly or like look alive on Zoom).
Here's How I Used ChatGPT to Build My Digital Course (Faster + Better)
1. Clarified My Course Tagline
Prompt:
“ With all the information I just gave you about my business and dream client, help me will in this course tagline framework: "The [type of course] for [specific person] who is ready to [get desired result] without [thing they THINK they need to be successful or the thing they dread] so that they can [state the reason why they want it].
💡 This 1 tagline sentence is your north star and will give you so much clarity.
2. Drafted My Modules Based on My Real-Life Process
Prompt:
“Based on this course transformation tagline, outline a 4-phase course experience that moves them from Point A to Point B” or their "Zero to Hero" state."
What I got:
→ Clear module titles
→ Lesson topics I could keep or delete
→ Suggested overall flow
No spiral. No perfectionism. Just a starting point.
3. Built Email Prompts That Sounded Like Me
Prompt:
“Assume the role of an expert email copywriter. Write a welcome email that celebrates someone for joining a course that helps them scale out of 1:1 services and into digital product freedom. Tone: personal, warm, grounded, feminine, conversational.”
It was 80% there.
Then I rewrote it to sound like a voice note I’d actually send.
✨ Clean. Warm. Very welcoming “come in, I saved you a seat!” energy.
💡 Using any AI is more of a collaborative approach - that's when you really get the best results.
4. Wrote a Sales Page Draft to Edit (Not to Publish)
Prompt:
“Write a sales page for my course topic [insert tagline]. Use sales copy frameworks that will qualify them, handle their limiting beliefs, and guide them to enrolling in my course”
It spit out a structure with the associated sales copy. This saved me HOURS of trying to figure everything out by myself.

I didn’t copy it. I customized it.
